Basic Hemp Knotting is the first of the Hemp Knotting series at Michaels. We learn a basic overhand knot, square knot, and how to add beads to a design. Then we turn our new skills into a cute bracelet. Once you know how to do the basic knots in hemp you can switch materials: for a chunkier look you can use jute cord with large beads, for a more refined look you can use silk cord and semi precious beads.
