| Sculpted Fondant & Gum Paste Bunny Cake Topper by Tara |
Hi Everyone-
Just thought I would use today to show off the results of our first ever Cupcakes & More - Fondant Sculpting Class. This class was open to anyone who had completed Gum Paste & Fondant Class and wanted to come in and learn to sculpt a bunny cake or cupcake topper by hand in class. We only sculpted them in class, we did not get to paint them.We are having a painting class in April or early May to learn how to finish them up. As you can see from the photo I brought mine home and painted him using several different painting techniques so he is ready for the painting class.
Since I am not a trained artist- I was a little worried about teaching everyone else how to do a bunny- the good news is that I think everyone got a nice bunny at the end of class. I have posted a few of the photos here so you can see how we did. I also posted photos of my sculpted bear which I will teach in the next class - sometime in April.
